By accessing or using CollowAI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
Description of Service
CollowAI is a platform that enables users to create, customize, and embed AI-powered chat assistants. Our services include AI assistant creation, knowledge base management, data source connections, widget embedding, and analytics.
User Accounts
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity, or to create assistants that generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content. We also reserve the right to refuse or terminate services that primarily promote or facilitate industries that conflict with our company's values. See our full Acceptable Use Policy for details.
Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to CollowAI. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide you the Service. We will never use your data to train general AI models or for purposes other than delivering your assistants.
Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time; your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, available at /refund-policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, designs, logos, and documentation, is owned by CollowAI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CollowAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
If we reasonably determine that your use of the Service violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, we may suspend or terminate your account after appropriate review. In urgent situations involving fraud, illegal activity, or significant harm, we may suspend access immediately. Where an account is terminated, we will provide a reasonable window to export your data.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
