Acceptable Use Policy

CollowAI exists to help businesses grow through trustworthy AI.

We believe technology should serve people responsibly, honestly, and ethically. While we welcome customers from all backgrounds and beliefs, we choose not to provide our platform to businesses whose primary purpose is illegal activity or industries that conflict with our core ethical values, including pornography, gambling, and interest-based lending.

Our goal is not to judge individuals, but to build technology that reflects the principles on which our company was founded.

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses CollowAI, including website visitors, free and paid customers, and anyone interacting with assistants built on our platform. Whenever you use CollowAI, you agree to this policy as part of our Terms of Service. Where these categories conflict with our values, our platform is simply not the right fit for a given business.

We prohibit the use of CollowAI for activities that are unlawful, harmful, or deceptive. This includes using the Service to:

• Operate or support any illegal business or activity
• Engage in fraud or deceptive practices
• Run scams or pyramid-style schemes
• Conduct phishing or credential harvesting
• Facilitate identity theft or account takeover
• Distribute malware, viruses, or ransomware
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
• Promote or facilitate child exploitation
• Promote or incite violence
• Disseminate hate speech or content that harasses or disparages others
• Support or facilitate terrorism or extremism
• Facilitate human trafficking
• Facilitate money laundering or other financial crimes
• Generate or distribute fake reviews or false testimonials
• Impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations without authorization

CollowAI is built around ethical business principles. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services that primarily promote or facilitate industries that conflict with our company's values.

The following businesses are generally not eligible for our platform. We apply a primary-business-purpose standard, meaning we look at what the business primarily does rather than incidental products:

• Pornography and adult entertainment
• Gambling, casino services, and sports betting
• Interest-based lending products
• Payday loans and high-cost predatory lending
• Alcohol production or promotion as a primary business
• Recreational drug sales or distribution
• Tobacco or vaping products as a primary business
• Fortune telling or occult services

To make this policy reasonable, we ask a single question: is the primary purpose of this business something the platform does not support?

• A restaurant that primarily serves food but also serves wine would normally be allowed.
• A casino whose business is primarily gambling would be rejected.
• A supermarket that sells a small amount of alcohol within a mostly general retail operation would normally be allowed.
• An interest-only lending platform whose business is primarily riba-based would be rejected.

Certain industries operate in good faith and are generally permitted, but may require additional review before approval. This gives us flexibility to serve legitimate businesses while upholding our standards:

• Financial services
• Insurance
• Medical and healthcare businesses
• Political organizations
• Cryptocurrency and digital asset businesses
• Investment firms and funds
• Dating and social platforms

If we reasonably determine that your use of the Service violates this Acceptable Use Policy, we may suspend or terminate the account after appropriate review. In urgent situations involving fraud, illegal activity, or significant harm, we may suspend access immediately. Where an account is terminated, users are given a reasonable window to export their data.
